How a shift works
From profile to paid
- 1Verify once. Add your ID, right to work and experience. Door work needs a valid SIA licence.
- 2Browse open shifts near you. Filter by role, date and rate.
- 3Apply in a couple of taps. The venue sees your profile and rating.
- 4Work the shift. Turn up, do a good job.
- 5Get rated. A good rating makes the next shift easier to land.

Every shift shows its rate up front, set by the venue. We are not going to invent pay figures before launch, but the deal is simple: you see what a shift pays before you apply, and you choose whether it is worth your evening.

Do I need experience?
Some shifts want experience, some do not. Your profile shows what you have done, and each venue decides who fits. The more shifts you work and the better your ratings, the more opens up.
What verification do I need?
Photo ID and a right-to-work check for everyone. Door and security work also needs a valid SIA licence, which we verify before you can take those shifts.
Is this an agency?
No. You choose your own shifts and there is no exclusivity. YourCover is the place you find them and build a reputation that carries between venues.
When does it launch?
